short term car insurance?

hello all how are you? ok so the christmas peiod is coming up and my mother in law has suggested we rent a car for the day to visit her family in liverpool. so i went to easi rent and explained i needed a car for christmas only they asked my age (22 years old) they said sorry we can provide you a car but you will have to get your on insurance. i have tryed everywhere. could anyone suggest a site or number that i could contact? i want 3 days insurance on a ford fiesta climate thank you so much paul
