Do NOT open a store on eBay unless you have built up to 100+ auctions a week. Stores cost money and do NOT get indexed the same way as regular aucitons do. What you save in listing fees is lost on fewer sales. Do NOT start dropshipping until you have gotten your feet wet. Start by doing an electronic garage sale and get rid of all of the junk in your home. This will give you a chance to get the eBay experience and not lose gobs of money. You will build feedback, etc. Dropshipping is a very difficult way to make money. 1. You have to mention in your auction that you do not actually have the item in your possession (say "from our warehouse"). 2. You are going to eventually earn a negative feedback when you sell an item that the dropshipper is out of stock of when you go to place your order. The negative feedback will kill your sales. 3. You have ZERO control over the dropshipper's shipping the right item, how long it takes to get to the buyer, etc. Heaven forbid if it arrives broken or the buyer wants to return it. 4. The profits on dropshipping are VERY low. 1000s of other people are also listing the same items and the ones who have mastered cheap postage and pricing will accept a low profit to win the sale. (I deal with people who have lost a lot of money jumping into the deep end of the eBay pool.) 5. By the way, you can easily freeze your paypal account by selling too many items too quickly. Paypal does NOT allow you to use the buyer's money to pay for the dropshipping. You front it and then pay yourself back 3 weeks later. 6. No one will tell you if they found a great dropshipper. They do not want the competition.
