Question

Is Quickbooks what I'm looking for?

I've opened an single member LLC. I'm interested in using Quick books Pro. My business will be rather small and a side type deal until I get situated and settled, retail sales and service. I'd like to know if QB will automatically reconcile with my local bank account, and also with my web store. I don't want to have to manually enter everything into QB. I don't necessarily need there merchant services as I'm using pay pal and looking at another merchant service. So will QB do this for me? Every time a customer buys online, and I reconcile QB it is recorded and when I make a purchase with bank/.credit card and reconcile it is recorded? Also what would be the best type "virtual terminal" if a customer calls with CC info or if I'd like to authorize their CC while not in the office?? Thanks ahead.

I am a franchisor of retail shoe stores. I always recommend Quick Books to my new franchise owners (alternatively we also suggest Simply Accounting). It is an easy to learn system that includes tutorials to help you learn each function. You may find it helpful to hire an accountant to set up your books and answer questions form time to time. The cost will be worth the investment and probably save you money in the long run. Accountants charge by the hour although you may find one who will charge a flat fee for setting up you accounts for you. Fred

I frankly do not like Quicken, Quick Books or the Pro the Pro can very, very confusing and unless you have someone who knows what they are doing I would stay away from it my granddaughter has been certified for Quick books however and she might be able to help you www.jhlindsey@yahoo.com
