It is a scam, do not give them any information about your checking account at all do not be so naive to believe that you have won anything you didn't apply for, too good to be true? yep, It is a real scam honey! Did you not watch dateline? or even watch the news, this is a big old scam . Send this email to your spam folder. nigerian scam I guarantee you this email was generated in Nigeria not england. don't bite.

For starters, you have to enter a contest in order to win it. So, if you haven't entered any contests with Shell oil, then you surely haven't won anything. Also, if a big company like Shell were giving away money, it would be publicized. They would not email you, they would show up at you door with cameras. Companies don't give away money for fun, they do it for publicity. So, if no publicity, then they are not who they say they are and are surely trying to scam you. If you did win something, you would never be contacted by email, even if you entered the contest online. Lastly, if you did win something after entering a contest and being greeted at the door with lights and cameras, they would never ask for personal information. This has scam written all over it.
